Evil Clown

What a lovely, comforting face.  Who says clowns can give you nightmares?  I'd feel much safer knowing he was watching over me, wouldn't you?

This evil beauty was made by the Schoenhut company.  In the early part of the 20th century, Shoenhut produced a complete circus of these wooden toys, complete with performers, animals, tents, and other accessories.

I See You

A small Minerva tin head peers out at you with her one good eye.  It makes you wonder what she's thinking of and why she has that chain?

A copy of this picture can be purchased at http://ann-neville.artistwebsites.com/.  Check it out along with some other prints which might get your attention.

That Was One Wild Night!

Who among us hasn't had one of those nights.  The next morning we don't remember what we did, our dress is a mess, our hair is a mess, our eyes are missing.......

My....What a Tiny Head You Have!

Nobody can accuse this young lady of having a big head!  In fact, I think she's been the victim of a witch doctor or a head shrinker.  Maybe that's why some women like big hair, it hides their small heads.

Yeti Girl

I imagine that this is what a hybrid between a Yeti and a human would look like, a slightly oversized head with fur attached to her body.  She was probably an Eskimo doll at one time, now she is Yeti Girl!

Her Eyes Would Follow You ..... If She Had Eyes

My kids keep telling me to quit buying dolls with no eyes.  But how can I resist such a sweet little girl with no eyes and sharp teeth!  It kind of makes you wonder who or what that stain on her dress is from.

Strange Friends

These two dolls show why people who know nothing about doll restoration shouldn't try it!  I love the 1970's fabric for the doll on the left and the crochet dress for the doll on the right.  I wonder what the pterodactyl thinks?
