Monkey Man

There's something about monkey dolls that draws you in.  They're like humans, but not quite........

This little guy is made of a material called composition.  It is a pressed, wood pulp which was originally billed as being unbreakable.  Unfortunately, this material proved to be more fragile than the china and bisque dolls it was designed to replace.

Is It A Clown? Is It A Monkey?

Is it a clown?  Is it a monkey?  Who can really tell.  Wouldn't you enjoy having a creepy "monkey man" staring at you all the time?

Why do people associate monkeys with bellhops?  Would you really want this little guy carrying your luggage?  Maybe in the hotel you check into in your nightmeres.  His little composition head is a bit chipped up, giving him a rather scary look.   

A Fragile Celluloid Little Girl (with a kitty friend!)

This strange little girl has a somewhat smashed celluloid face, plaster (I think) legs and hands, and a paper body!  It's amazing she has survived all these years.  She is a bit creepy and sad, but precious none the less!
